While visiting her DD in Australia over Christmas my sister was given the book "What Bird is That". It was written and ilustrated by Neville W. Cayley in 1932. For some reason instead of keeping it she wants to find it a good home and asked me to post about it here. I think what she has in mind is along the lines of museum, school or library where lots of people could enjoy it, but I suppose it really doesn't matter as long as it gets a good and loving home. If anyone is interested let me know.
1932 Australian birdbook
Ginger, I love old books like that. Would be happy to give it a good home, and send postage! Please let me know! John
Ginger you can search for that book on Amazon or E-Bay to get a feeling of it's market value. Send it to Pardan anyway. Woud your life change for 10 bucks? Frank
Hi Ginger:
You have mail...
Sandy(summerwind)
Hope this is a case of the early bird getting the bird book!
LOL...in the end it will be up to my sister what she does. I was rather surprised when she asked me to post about it..not like her at all.
Does it have illustrated plates in it? I know the Audabon books go for a pretty penny nowadaze just for the illustrations.
