Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Okay Molly and all you southerners, does this look like spring to you? LOL We have birds, but they are pecking at snow and ice for water. I am out of seeds and no way to go get any so we are throwing out bread crust for now. But, does this look like spring????? giggle

What's all that white stuff?

Ellabell, GA(Zone 8a)

It looks like both groundhogs were right. Six more weeks of winter up north and spring down here.
I hope it will stop snowing on y'all soon.

YIKES!!!!! Definitely looks like Ohio to me - LOL. Talked to DD in PA today and they had 24 inches on the ground and more coming. Come on down Michele. We have a little bit of white stuff but nothing like that!

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

O Badseed!!!! That is soo pretty! NOT! LOL I feel for ya though I'd hate to know I had to look at that out my window.
Keep your chin up though, because you and I both know that Spring WILL come sooner or later. Hopefully sooner for your behalf, because I know how you'd love to see Spring come rolling in there.
If I thought that blowing all my hot air towards you would help....I'd do it, but like you said it would probably turn to rain before it gets there.
Close all the curtins, and doors and pull your chair up close to the puter...and we'll keep you nice and warm right here. In fact, here's one of my new quilts to wrap up in to keep you warm :) I'll be right back with your hot tottie.
LOL

Brooklet, GA(Zone 8a)

pretty to look at but not to be in. it was a little cooler today in the upper 40's but up to 60's tomorrow with sun shine.

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

Funny thing Chele!! You didn't by any chance fly down and take a pic of my garden did you???? Looks so familiar!! Two foot drifts and we still can't get out. Running out of seed also so have been cooking extra potatoes, rummaging the cookie jar and soaking bread in water. Here's something you might not be aware of.......wait for it......Crows love brussels sprouts!! They do!! I had some left over from dinner and couldn't throw them away without offering to our guests first!! I couldn't believe it but it's true. They were fighting over the veggies!!

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

I thought of you today Badseed, it was a very warm 68º today! Such a beautiful day to be out and about the gardens! Wish you were here :)

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Still snow everywhere here - how about you, Chele? It's been too cold for it to melt. Boy, when it does melt, we're going to really have a chance to test that basement waterproofing we had done, too!!

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

We had a nice day yesterday and it even thawed a little. There's still lots of snow though and more predicted for the weekend and early next week.

Stupid groundhog!

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Man and here I am fussing about the rain!! I don't know if I could take that much snow!

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Most of the pavement is clean but there is still about four inches of snow on the grass. My good news? More is supposed to come down tonight. Of course I have to work tonight and tomorrow! Did it snow the last three days while I was off? Of course not! LOL

Grove City, OH(Zone 6a)

I am so happy I can have these blooms because I have never had room to save them before. This is the first year for my greenhouse. I brought these in from last summer. My housework has gone to pot!!!! But my greenhouse looks good. :o)

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

Looks like your greenhouse is blooming well linda. Been a very prosperous first year for you!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

That housework will be here long after we are gone, enjoy life! Thanks for sharing the beautiful flowers. What is the first picture, blue?

Selma, IA(Zone 5a)

The first picture is Lobelia. I didn't have the heart to cut it back so it just hangs there and blooms. It would probably look better if I cut it back. I have a problem cutting things back. LindaKay

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Me too!

Spicewood, TX(Zone 8b)

We didn't get as much as you all did, but did get a LOT more white stuff than usual (sleet and ice mostly). Here are three pics of what our place looked like early last week: http://www.moment.net/~wingnut/sleet1.JPG http://www.moment.net/~wingnut/sleet2.JPG http://www.moment.net/~wingnut/sleet3.JPG

I hear groundhogs make great stew, especially ones raised around the Punxatawney area.

Selma, IA(Zone 5a)

We got six inches of snow last night and ten degrees. Blaugh !!!!!

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

We can see grass again and we had two lovely, sunny days near 70 degrees this weekend. I saw a bumble bee today...And a mosquito. Firsts of the season for me.

Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

I have a few crocus blooming, no snow but we had a hail and rainstorm with wind that made us bundle up good. The next few nights will be in the 20's.

Spring Hill, FL(Zone 9a)

GW, how many mosquitoes do you want? I will send them ppd.
butterflies are all over the passiflora here, laying their eggs I presume although the passiflora is not blooming.

Seattle Burbs, WA(Zone 8b)
