email problem

I had several people over the last couple of weeks that say they emailed me and I never received. Cala, fairyhunter and go vols from Daves and several more from relatives. If you email me and I don't answer please be patient. I did get email from Carol and tiG so I know some of them are coming through. The problem seems to be just with the email and not the computer. I will be changing next week anyway to a different provider and maybe that will clear the problem. Thanks in advance for being patient. Jim

GRC, I go through this same thing over and over and over... many of my e-mails are 2-3 days late being delivered, a lot of others never arrive. I really should change my e-mail service (maybe).

Why don't you guys with spotty e-mail service open up a web-based e-mail account? Some let you download your e-mail through regular e-mail programs such as Outlook, Eudora, etc. One such free service, offering both web-based access and POP3 access (allowing you to download mail to your computer from their server, like any ISP does) is e-omninet.
