Can't help it

Oklahoma City, OK(Zone 7a)

I'm a proud mom, so bear with me on this thread. My daughter, Bethany, was chosen to sing in a quartet (out of 150 children) for a special program at her school (parents haven't really been invited, but I'll be there). Yesterday, she also found out that she will play a prominent part in another part of the program as well, although she wouldn't elaborate (I'm just a mom, afterall). :) The program is this morning and I can't wait to see her.

Thanks for letting me boast a little. I am so proud of her. She is an amazing child.

Yes, she is. She's a special little girl and she has a loving family -- an unbeatable combo.

Oh, what a treat to hear these children sing today. It was so wonderful. The quartet was in such amazing harmony for just being 4th and 5th graders. They received many compliments and YES, I got it all on video. :)

Oh, and I'm sorry to report (Kathy) that she had another seizure yesterday. The medication may not be quite right for her, so she'll have to see the doctor again to decide what to do next. We're all fine, though, so no worries. God is good.

What a child, Carla. Heck! I'M proud of her and she don't even belong to me! Folks, that Bethany child was a real treat at the Tenn RoundUp last yr! So considerate, feeling, and polite! A pleasure to be with!

You go, girl! Can't wait to hear more about your fame! (Maybe I can help you become a story-teller, eh? Eh?) ;>)
