poppysue, what a great picture and color combination of the lupin and aquilgea. I must get the seed for my Aq. into the fridge and get the lupin seeds planted. Most of today was at the dentist so didn't get a whole lot done. Donna

Wow, This is really a great thread. Here's purple cone and shasta daisy with my pond in background. The trellis this year will have moon glow vine on one side and pink running rose on the other side with gerber daisy and liatris in bed in front of them. The frost data base (http://www.floridata.com/tracks/misc/frostdates.htm)says Atlanta's last frost is on March 13 and that is only one month from today. I will be ready and waiting. I should say I AM ready and waiting.

Georgiaredclay, I found your frost map in a roundabout way, link don't work. Anyway, it says average last frost date. That means you have about a 50% chance of getting a frost after that date. You might want to wait a bit longer. I will, even though I'm close to Savannah.

I posted a photo of a Dark female Tiger Swallowtail earlier in this thread. The Butterfly Butterflygardnr posted is the regular female Tiger Swallowtail. The dark one is mimicing a Pipevine Swallowtail. Just thought somebody might find it interesting.

I scrolled down through the whole thing and not one picture showed up this time. If I click where the picture should be sometimes I get to see the large view. Funny Donna

Paintedlady, I made the mistake of starting to early last year. I won't make that mistake again. I had the frost date saved in my favorites and it works from there but not thru the hyperlink. ???? The address is the same.

Here's my favorite brug, Dr Suess.
