Well, PA has PP............and Texas has "eyes"!! It was 75 and georgeous yesterday, and we had a picnic at the lake. Only thing missing was the green grass and leaves!! A simply marvelous Ground Hog Day!
"eyes"
The Shadow Knows!!
Humph-Our Phil predicted six more weeks of winter.
Did you know that groundhog tastes just like chicken? :-D
You're so lucky eyes. We had 9 more inches of snow yesterday.
LOL..........wouldn't know Inda!! But it sure was nice, but they're predicting another cold front this week.....possibly snow and ice! Yikes!!! Snow, I would send ya some sunshine if I could, Kiddo!!
"eyes"
I thought groundhogs hibernated in the winter! 6 more weeks of winter sounds OK with me. In England we didn't put out our hanging baskets until the end of May because of late frosts, so I think I can deal with the winter over here. I did notice that Texas was much warmer than in our neck of the woods. :-) We are having a respite from the snow - for two days and warmer temps but I'm not going to hold my breath - more cold on the way!!
Yes, Here in Louisiana, The Cajun groundhog saw his shadow.. They said They can expect a longer, hotter and more humid summer this year. It's about 6 or less weeks of winter! I am going to have baby in hot summer in Aug! Ugh.........
Mini..............I had my oldest son in August........hang in there sweetie!!
"eyes"
Our groundhog DIDN'T see his shadow!!!!! We were blessed with a spring day today, but the forecast is for winter again tomorrow :(
See Lupy...........John Denver had the nail pegged right on the head!! "Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy....sunshine nearly always makes me high!!!""
"eyes"
Word has it that the Groundhog is just out looking for his prospective bride since they mate in March!
"eyes" I had friends in the 60s and 70s that thought other things made them high. I guess I still have some friends who think that. LOL
Sunshine and moderate temperatures make me high!
Well, if he had been here he would have seen his shadow but we don't have them here. But I think we will have 6 weeks more of winter since we have had such a mild one so far with record warm days. In fact we had our 3rd frost of the year last night and it was just a light dusting at that.
