awwww, shucks. Thanks y'all! I had a wonderful day, thanks in part to all the well-wishes I received via email :)

Since DG was down, we pruned the crab and apple trees, got the leaf netting off the pond, the GH cleaned out, and I started dozens of new seeds outdoors and in. That's my idea of a wonderful weekend!!!

And sigh, yes I did indeed see my shadow, as did Punxsutawney Phil. But six weeks of winter isn't too long, is it?

So glad to hear that you had a wonderful B'day! Sounds like you got a lot of yard work and sowing of seeds done. Great accomplishment for the beginning of February!

In my opinion, six more weeks of winter is definitely TOO MUCH for me to handle! I'm ready to move South :~) Oh well, at least it has brought the water table to above-average, so that we won't have such a devastating drought again this summer.
