i am so excited i can hardly believe i am finally going to meet someone from daves. i have beenhere since feb 2001 and have wanted to meet someone so badly. we have not worked out all the details yet but maybe just maybe i will. we only live 25 miles from eachother.

SoCal and I met for lunch while on one of my trips to CA.
We had a great lunch and of course . . . went shopping together. I brought her some tomatoes from my CA garden and she shared some of her Bromeliad "Queens Tears" also known as the "Friendship Plant". Next time I can be there we plan for me to drive to HER home and have lunch in Her area.

I am going to mil tomorrow to dig those sassafrass trees so it can not be this weekend but we are working on next weekend. i an hardly wait.

Wow, just 25 miles! I drive that far for labs, really often, so this should be doable when it fits into your schedule. I am jealous but happy for both of you.

I know you will have LOTS of fun meeting her. I have met two Dave's people, MaryE lives about 110 miles from me and we have gone shopping together a couple of times and Maxine from Wisconson has been here and we got along so well that she and her hubby stayed for 4 days! I can hardly wait till they come again! The next time my DH will take the time off work. It is so nice to meet people with hobbies like your own as it gives you something to talk about immediatley. Have fun.

unfortunately we had to put off our plans as i have 2 very sick girls. the oldest missed all week from school and the 12 yr old has been running a 102 to 104 temp today. right now it isw down to 101 so i am taking a break to relax here with all of you. maybe next weekend

ok, everyone is well now so hopefull saturday or sunday we are getting together and swapping some plants. I can hardly wait to finally meet a fellow daves gardener. I will try and get some pics to share with all of ya.
