Tons of junk mail

The last few days I have been overwhelmed with junk e-mail. A few of them are over 500k, completely filling my mailbox. Of course that means I am NOT getting the ones I want. I am really tempted to ratchet up my level of filters, but that would keep almost everyone out, unless I already know who they are. I don't think I want to go that high.

Anyone else getting huge things lately?

Not huge things but I'm sure getting plenty of junk mail.

Have you sent anyone an online bithday card?or have you got one from someone else?I had this happen to me,I thought nothing of it and hit unsubcribe at the bottom of the card,I lets them know this is an active box,so I would be sure to delete them and block em,I have MSN,it lets me block senders,it has slowed my flow down.

I get TONS of it, specially I run about 200 lists on another site, and the latest spammer trick is to send it to the
"whatever"listowner @ XXX.com

They have no IDEA who I am.

I use msn to send out stuff, but am frustrated because it
doesnt give me enough space. Am SERIOUSLY thinkin about getting my own domain so I can unlimited emails.

And just block everyone who spams- they are so impersonal
(the spams) that you can tell just by how it is addressed that it is spam, even without reading the message.

I never open mail unless I know who it is from (learned that the hard way). But these are from spammers who send massively huge mail. It goes to the junk mail box, but it still eats up my space! So annoying. I am having to check it 2-3 times/day, or my box is just crammed full. I do forward it to a spam stopper, but that is also very time-consuming.

I can't imagine how irritating this would be - I just NEVER get pop-up or spams. I use Zone Alarm-Pro and McAfee as filters. Also I am fortunate to live where we can get broadband, so we have AT&T cable. Once in a while I get a suspicious looking email, so I ususally just delete them. If I do try to open one by mistake, I am warned that it has a virus and will be quarantined.

I got a new one tonight that I had never had before. It was from somebody that I had never heard of so I deleted it but it had an attachment to open and said that it hoped that I would like this website. GRRRRR like I would EVER open something like that. I suppose they get those who don't know not to open these.

Not only you

Each day I will receive dozens
both from home and abroad.
One day a business email to me
saying:brags,liquid filled,discounted...

The way I treat the spams is
DELETE immediately and entirely.
