2003 weird seed dip

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

doris, I have a lot like that too, but with the Latin we can do a search and fill in some blanks in the PDB. I didn't remember a list like that, but it's been a while:)

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

ME, Me, me!!! Can I play too??? LOTS of weirdos, oops, I mean weird seeds. Can I play with less than 25 seeds per packet, cause weird seeds don't always make a lot of other weirder seeds! Ya know what I mean???!!! Sometimes, they only make 20 weirder ones or the "biggies" tend to gather in clumps of 15......watcha think???

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

of course, you will have mail in just a sec.

Carlisle, PA(Zone 6b)

This is getting to be a big thing. Tig, I think you are going to have to put together a spreadsheet with everybody's name on it & which seeds they included, so that way, they won't get their own seeds back. I didn't mark my seeds but you know what I sent. I am looking forward to this so much.
I also am glad you are going it. Maybe if this goes off well, and I truly believe it will, by reading the enthusiastic posts above, it can be an annual event.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

It will definitely take a spreadsheet:) LOL!!! hoping I can make everyone feel it was worth it!

Seymour, TN(Zone 6b)

Hey everyone..please look at my post above. Be honest with me and let me know if those plants are considered too common for this. I'd like to participate if they're o.k.

Cheryl

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

well, you are the second person to ask me about hyacinth, I don't want to get overloaded with a ton of one thing, but!! if only two send that, then everyone could get them. The others aren't too common, in my opinion. sorry I missed that, we posted almost at the same time and I didn't see it.

"down the Shore", NJ(Zone 7a)

Smokymist, I think your seeds will qualify nicely! John

Birmingham, AL(Zone 7b)

I have more HBV (Ruby Moon) if desired, and I, for one, would be happy to receive other HBVs (i.e. purple or white), var. hibiscus (esp. hardy) and Cobea scandens -- though I may have to buy the latter before this all transpires.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

bump :) I've gotten some nice packages the last couple of days.

Morris, IL(Zone 5b)

I'm considering joining in the fun...but what if you're not positive of the precise latin name? Or a specific cultivar? I think I can come up with 10 packs, with not too many doubles. Oh....fooey! Just sign me up and tell me what to send where!

naturepatch

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I have most of mine together, hopefully I'll ship them to you on Monday

Panama, NY(Zone 5a)

I sent mine out, and it just dawned on me that I didn't make a list of what I sent! I'm pretty sure my name is on them - at least I hope I got that part right. Still suffering from Frozen February Brain Syndrome here!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I've kept them all in the envelopes they came in. I'll make a list for everyone that didn't include one. dont' worry, not a problem.

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

Mine are on my piano waiting for Monday mailing. Kathleen just reminded me to open it up and make a list and check it twice. :)

"down the Shore", NJ(Zone 7a)

Were your seeds naughty, or nice?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

*snicker* good one John! you're on your toes:)

Panama, NY(Zone 5a)

lol, mine are obviously misbehaved! but what can you expect from spoiled plants??

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

John, you stole my line. LOL I typed that and then backspaced it LOL

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8a)

tig........mine are on their way to you now! Elaine

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

Oh I hope my seeds are really nice to the people they are sent to. I am sitting here worrying about the varities I send not being weird enough. For ME they are weird for others they may be ho-hum. LOL

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'm sure they are wonderful!!! don't worry, they may be the rarest of all:)

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

LOL tiG, you ARE a dreamer aren't you?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

no, but remember, rare is relative so all you can do is smile, right??

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

I also have "February Frozen Brain Syndrome" and can't quit understand how I managed to include Purple Cauliflower, Purple Beans, (I love the color Purple, can you tell?), an edible Gourd Vine and a very large ornamental, as well as, edible Spinach! What should I do???? Should I take them out of your envelope and put them in "ZZ's Veggie Swap", or keep them in your unusual+weird Seed Dip??? I'm in desperate need of help :~)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

well, we did say in the beginning no veggies. :( you'll just have to do what you think is best for both. wish I could be more help.

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

OKAY, okay....but DON'T BLAME ME! You know what happens when you DON'T eat your veggies every single day.....

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

hehehe!!! I suggest everyone join in ZZtops seed swap!!! don't want Shirley to be able to say 'I told ya so' :)

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

tiG, I would never do that! BUT, my Momma always told ME to eat MY veggies every day, so I would grow big & strong! :~)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

bumping one more time in case anyone missed this. In the past week I've gotten some really good seeds!!! I hope you will all get something you really want, or if you didn't know you wanted it, you'll say "wow, I forgot all about that one"
All seeds need to be here by March 1st, so last call!

Carlisle, PA(Zone 6b)

Happy Valentine's Day everyone. I am looking forward to receiving my pre-Christmas present of rare seeds. tig, I hope you give me some real weirdoes. The weirder the better. Thanks. Buttoneer.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Judy, I'm working on the spreadsheet as they come in so that I can mail as soon after the first of March as possible.

Weymouth, Dorset, United Kingdom(Zone 9a)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)
