Super Bowl tomorrow

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

I realize that football fans will probably throw rocks in my direction, but I'm REALLY looking foreward to the commercials!! Super Bowl has generated some great ones. Will be curious to see which ones everyone likes best this year.

I'm cheering against the Oakland Raiders!

Lewisville, MN(Zone 4a)

I am cheering for both teams. Both have former Vikings for Quarterbacks! Rich Gannon actually lives in Minneapolis. His wife is the daughter of one of the Vikings greats, Bill Brown.

Never having been bitten by this bug, I think of Superball Sunday as the day to get into movies without having to stand in line or restaurants without having to sit forever at the bar. Hey, maybe I'll try both!

I will be watching the "Murder She Wrote" bowl on A&E.

Tampa, FL(Zone 9b)

GO BUCCS!!!

Willamette Valley-OS, OR(Zone 8a)

I'll be doing the 'Dirt Bowl' thing...and planting up Perennials....in this wonderful...currently @ 4:25am...59š weather in Oregon...I can't beleive it! This is 'Super' alright!

Later I will watch the VCR Recorded Version of the Best Recorded 'Million Dollar Commercials' and of corse the Football Game that comes with the Commercials.

I think this is the only...Game...where the Commercials beat out the Pigskin!

Ok ad wise...I liked Sierra Mist with the dog chilling out in front of the AC. Also 2 of the Bud Lites..Reggae hair and the upside down man.

When the score was 34-21 with just over 2min. left I switched to another show..couldn't believe the final was 48-21.

Huntington Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

Ginger,

When the score was 34-21, my SIL had that in a football pool for $1800.00. When they scored that last TD in the last 2 seconds of the game, I thought he was going to die. He rant and raved for a long time.

Glad to see Tampa won though, as they had the better team. We don't like the Raiders, even though we are in CA.

I can't belive I watched the WHOLE game....since my DH died I haven't watched any sports at all...but since we lived just north of Tampa for a number of years ....and all through the formation of the Buccaneers...I just knew he would have been so happy to see the Buc's win that Super Bowl! I got so excited...even yelled aloud...and me at home all alone too! Oh WEll...did my heart good to see them win. Jo

New York City, NY(Zone 6b)

I just got off the telephone with a friend who told me that..., even though the Superbowl broadcast is like 70 hours long, the football is actually in motion about 4 minutes.

Interesting.

Tampa, FL(Zone 9b)

roadrunner, the town is going crazy over this. wish you were here. everyone met on the streets around the stadium on sunday, on monday they all gathered in the stadium to welcome home the bucs and today was a parade downtown!! everyone is hugging everyone! even if they don't know each other! it really brought this town together!

Spring Hill, FL(Zone 9a)

Tampa Bay fans should remember that only because of a bad call by a referee did the Bucs not have to play the Giants in the playoffs, allowing them to get the Super Bowl victory. Just wait 'til next year!
But of course Congrats on the WIN!

Crossville, TN

Vredfish...I'll bet Ybor City partied for DAYS!!!(Heck, they party at the drop of a hat!) David...It's not how you played the game...but how you WON it!! YEAH BUCS!!!!!! Jo

Lappeenranta, Finland(Zone 3a)

There was a bad call by the referee against Raiders also during the superball game. They called a touch down no good. The Raiders should have got that touch down too! Don't you kinda wonder if the refs get paid off??
