What's with Van Bourgondien

I thought Van Bourgondien had chosen to go completely wholesale. Last year I got a small catalog from the elder Van Bourgondiens saying they were going to start the retail business back up. Now this year, I get a regular retail catalog from Van Bourgendien like nothing happened. Does anyone know what's going on? I like them but I'm a little afraid to order from them now with so many changes going on.....

We bought from them this year wholesale, have never seen their retail catalog. However, the quality of the bulbs weren't the greatest i've ever seen am tallying up counts now of rotten ones and in spring will finish the list and call and request a credit, They say they will issue one but i've never ordered from them so not sure how thats going to go..

I've refused to do business with them for 3 yrs now. Last time I purchased from them I rec'd rotten goods....the percentage was about 60 percent bad. It was late in the year so maybe they were trying to unload some out-dated stuff. I complained, not only to them but to the retailer who got them for me. (He doesn't carry their line anymore either.)

Shoe did you get a refund? They promised me they would either credit or replace everything we weren't satisfied with.

well, the last time I ordered from them, I had good bulbs, and like them but things changed about then. They are the bulb suppliers for Kmart; I wonder if that tells us something?
