Welp, I'be been called colorful before, but this takes the cake!
The things we go thru for our children!
(I went to bed like this last nite...when I woke up, looked in the mirror then screamed loudly, it took 30 minutes to SCRUB this stuff off. Apparently it is only "wash off with water" when you do it right away!)

We love you Shoe. That picture is cute. Is it ok to call you "cute" 'cause you are, you know????????

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

WHAT A GOOD DADDY! =]

Crossville, TN

Shoe....did you get the license number of that truck that hit you? Boy! Alex is a good artist! Jo

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

HAH...nope. I never saw it coming! I don't think I'll be hit again any time soon tho. I had to scrub my face so hard (even used soap!) that even my eyebrows hurt all day long yesterday!
(Still have a hint of pink on my left-hand finger nails!)

Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

Wow! what a paint job! I've been sitting here laughing for several minutes. You'd better sleep with one eye open, Alex might decide to paint you up like a zebra or something. Good thing you don't have one of those city jobs to go to.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

I think Alex is an artist in the making! lol

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

MYSTIC! No encouragement necessary!

(but she is quite the artist. just need to give her a new canvas!)

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

Want I should send you DH's old art set for her to tinker with??? Naw, the forbidden is so much more alluring!! Thanks for all the good stuff Shoe............keep 'em rollin' in!!!

HAH!...sha-zaam!! From what I see, eyes, it looks like I got off entirely TOO easy!!!! Yeehawww...!

Middle, TN(Zone 6b)

Yeah, I think that springing for buying a canvas, an artist notebook, etc. might be less painful. Even allowing her to paint on the walls would be much easier on your skin.

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Actually Ellen, she has all that stuff, and loves it! She's been drawing pics since day one. I'll never forget the time when she was only about 4...she sat/laid down on the grass in front of a box turtle with pencil/pen and paper for the longest time and drew that turtle. I was surprised...she even drew all the little scales on its legs, the markings on its back, and even that little "hook nose" thingy on its face. I was impressed!

But alas...she still loves to "work" on me sometimes!

Middle, TN(Zone 6b)

I think that is a wonderful talent to encourage. Since she did all of that when she was a tiny tot, she certainly displays great talent. Just thank your lucky stars that she hasn't taken up the art of tatooing folks. I can just imagine who her experimental person would be on that one. Shoe, covered with tatoos! That would be a picture that would really be worth posting, huh?

Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

Maybe she will grow up to be a tatoo artist.

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

UGH! SHame on you, Mary!!

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

Now there's a consideration............LOL!!!
