Font and size

Castelnau RB Pyrenée, France(Zone 8a)

I don't see anyone else mentioning a change of font and size - so is this mine reverting to the large print you kindly removed for me before Dave??

If so, please can I have my old familiar back (that's even pretty please:)

Hi philomel,

Actually, I can honestly plead innocent on this one. Trish and I been out of town for the past 6 days (!). I have Lisa as my witness (we helped her out with a sack of crawfish just last night).

Seriously, I have made no changes at all. Font size? If it's seriously affecting you, I may be able to make some changes on my side, but they would affect everyone. Are you sure you haven't fiddled with your font settings in your browser?

Yes, I haven't done anything at all this end Dave, but if you remember, the last time you changed it, everyone else's went back to normal straight away afterwards but mine didn't and you did something your end to just mine that worked. It's gone back to what looks like exactly the same font and size as it was then, so I was hoping it was a similar problem.
After it happened I tried to correct it, but have had no joy.
Oh well, if there's nothing you can do I'll just have to sit at arms length LOL.

Philo, are you using Internet Explorer? If so, try this...

TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS
Click the ACCESSIBILITY button
Checkmark "Ignore font sizes specified on web pages"
Click OK
Click OK again

See if that might help. Also, if you have a scroll mouse, you should be able to hold the control key down while you scroll the wheel back and forth and see the font size change.

Hope that helps! :)

Brilliant gw, thanks so much - I'd altered things in the font, but didn't know to look in Accessibility. It has ignored my font setting - still Ariel instead of what I set. But I like ariel anyway. What it has done is made it smaller, which is all I needed.
Thanks again you wizard

Hilary

That is sooooooo much more comfortable to look at!!!

Thanks, Vols! :)

aha ahem er dave er think it was gardenwife ;)

Wow, what's wrong with me this morning? I better drink some more coffee! :)

GW - Please accept my apologies, and thank you very much for helping philomel!

I did a double-take, wondering WHAT my "evil twin" must have been up to this time (I blame this nonexistent entity whenever there's something I don't recall; I was pretty sure I didn't solve this problem ;-)

That's okay, Dave; if there's anyone at this site I don't mind being associated with, it's Vols. Along with you and Trish, she's da woman!

Ummmm, not saying you're a woman, Dave. LOL

Pssst, GW: remember the First Law of Holes? If you are in one, stop digging.

But I've always wanted to visit China, Vols!
