Don't know what to do!!
Eat it..or repot it??

The daylily seeds have really sprouted up.
Their almost reaching the lid on the jiffy tray!

Shall I put them in small containers now?
Soil?

Sandy, if they are touching the lid, might be time to remove it. The seedlings can be given 'haircuts' if they get too tall, this will encourage strong roots and better fans as well. You might want to post your question also in the Daylily Forum for more opinions. Hope this helps, John

Thank you for the reply.

Some of mine are up too-- brought them in January 2. :-)

I plant mine in plastic six packs and then move them onto bigger pots after about a month/month and a half. I seriously debated the value in getting them started so early, but I planted some nice husky seedlings last spring and didn't lose one. I think there is some benefit to having them be a little bigger before you put them outside.

I am absolutely BESIDE MYSELF waiting for this coming daylily season! And I have at least six months to wait-- GROAN!

Thanks for sharing about plastic six packs. Good idea.

Weather here is much too cold for planting.

Did I tell you that I lived in HopBottom, Pa?
Oh My... The Winters!
Have a friend who lives in the Poconos,
she got snowed in with forty pugs!!!!Very eventful

Re-potted the babies and yep, gave them haircuts.
