Who has AOL IM ???

I love posting on threads in here, but sometimes just want to chat with people live hahah :) Anyone up for chatting let me know. I always love having new people to talk to. I am absolutely in heaven when we have DG chat :) Just was wondering :)

Katrina, most of us use MSN IM....if you download it you'll get plenty of us to chat with!! Let me know...me and AOL don't get along. Jo

I don't do AOL either I use yahoo and Msn, both are free downloads so if you sign up with them let me know and we can chat.

Sounds like I am the only one here with AOL. I use it, and I also have MSN(but I always forget to sign in on MSN though) I'm Mollybee on AOL and MSN both. I stay logged on 24/7 so sometimes I am not on when it looks like I am LOL But I'd love to chat with ya!

Mollybee and others who have several messenger IDs, you could try Trillian... it's a free messenger program where you can use several messengers at the same time.

I have both MSN and Yahoo IDs, they are on my member page.

Evert - tried it, looks interesting. Was able to integrate AIM, Yahoo and ICQ. Will be interesting to see how it works!

I have AOL but never log into it. I tried to drop it a few months ago and they gave me three free months instead. LOL! I think I am still going to get rid of it though. I only had it because it offered parental locks so I could restrict the kid's access to things. But, they are beyond that now.

Now you have me curious to log into AOL again. I may do that. I'm Joan105370

Yahoo IM will save messages for me if I am not on line, or save for others when I send and they are not on line. Do any other services do that??

farizona - ICQ does the same. I'm an old ICQ fan from back in the mid-90's (number back in the low 100K series). You can send messages to offline people. Some of the other nice features are being able to be "invisible" to certain people, invisible to "everyone" but still be visible to other people. I've tried AOL, Yahoo, MSN, but still like trusty old ICQ.

Sounds like not too many people on this forum are using it, though - not sure why. Other nice features - you can pick ANY name, even if other people have it - you just have a different ICQ number.

The only downside there - can be hard for a person to find you by handle if it's common!

Thank you,sbarr. I have not used ICQ...yet. I do like that feature about Yahoo and often use it like email,to leave a message.

Thanks Plantsdiret...Because of this thread I am making a bigger Buddy list with all my DG friends! Now maybe I can chat it up with them!

Haha Molly not a problem its really wonderful to be able to chat. I am an insistant talker, and after moving 2 hours away from where I grew up, and not having many friends here its nice to know I have friends all over the world through DG :)
