Has anyone heard from Iris (Debbie) lately?

St. Thomas, ON(Zone 5b)

Nothing..........But lets raise a glass to HER tomorrow night at the stroke of MIDNIGHT to celebrate her last treatment, and to wish her a better year to come! My Mom just came through heavy duty chemo treatments and they made her tired so maybe she's just to tired right now to communicate with us yet.

Yes, I raise a glass to Iris and hope she will be able to post soon -- even if it's only two words: "I'm okay." Flowerpot, I'm glad your mother's treatments are finished and pray that her vigor and health will return in greater measure than she has ever enjoyed.

Iris, I was thinking of you over the holidays. Let us know that you're OK. I hope the New Year will bring you peace, happiness and good health.

Does anyone have her phone number? I am really worried about her. It seems so strange for her to just disappear and no one know hear from her.

Flowerpot, for your mom: I had six chemo treatments last year, and I was so tired I couldn't think, literally! It lasted for several months for me, even though I had shots and two blood transfusions. Then, miraculously, it subsided. I can tell you, it does get better. I lost my hair, and it actually did come back curly. The energy came back gradually, and I believe it was helped by the herbs and vitamins I normally take, along with my determination to eat exactly right. Hugs to your mom, and to you and the whole family as you experience surviving. There are quite a few here who have been down the same road, and I believe every single one will raise a glass to all who travel that route. My glass is raised to each and every one of you, the patients and the patient caregivers. God bless you every one with a great 2003!

"IRIS" :~)

Happy New Year to one and all. May each of us know more joy, better health, greater love and forgiveness, warmer relationships and heartier laughter in 2003 than we ever dreamed possible.

Mystic, did Iris return your call?

(Zone 5a)

Iris I do hope your feeling better and hope to see you back soon. I wish you nothing but good health and cheer through out the new years.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Whiterose no she never called me back I just figured she was not up to talking.My puter is on the fritz so I am kinda off and on at the moment .

Thanks for that update, Mystic. I think Iris must be very, very fatigued at this point and hope that her treatments were not prolonged due to bad weather -- hope she was able to finish them on New Years, as planned.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Hope you're okay, Iris. Miss you, hon. :)
