Had a great time last night on Chat. Even with my slow fingers it was fun. Sorry I didn't stay on for everybody's New Years, but the steaks were ready and I was hungry! Sorry you couldn't have joined us, Evert.

OK, OK, this is one of my nieces, Bekka; she is tuckered out after helping me prepare yet another meal for 12 people (I got to prepare 8 meals for 8-15 people over the long holiday season). This one will be 15 in two weeks. Ain't she sweet? But we do look a lot alike (at least, this is what I looked like when I was 15)

Sorry I missed it, I know you all must have had a ball!! We had been invited out, but since we always stay home, we just invited some friends and neighbors here - about 20 came!!
It was really fun, some of Doug's Barbershop buddies came as well as several neighbors. We sang, wore silly hats & leis, played Trivia and watched the Ball drop on the Big Screen. I made a ham & Potatoe salad & homeade bread. Everyone brought food, so all was well!

I thought about you guys, I just should have left the group long enough to check in.
