top gift 2002

now that everyone is up and about what is the best gift you received this year?

I got £65/$90 of vouchers to spend in a camera store in Belfast.

New harddrive and writable cd drive.

New computer (got it last month and an Olympus 520Z digital camera! in tech heaven:)

I got a microscope. I'm going to look at all my garden from a different point of view.

DH got me 7 daylilies for spring delivery! He made me cards for each one showing me the flower of each plant. I loved it, best Christmas yet. We also got a new radio/cd player.

An office organizer for my desk, I can find my scanner again. Best is the excited Grandson when he opened a Bob The Builder lego box! DW got a George Foreman grill, just finished a steak from it. Very good except I left it on to long.

I got a heating cable and thermostat for the GH. Propogation and seed starting just got 100% better here.

I got a new Dell computer. I now have the challenge of trying to move everything from the old one...HELP !!!!

Dh bought me a Diamond ring!!!! First and only one I have ever had, been together 18 years and I finally got a Diamond!!
2nd best was a Mattress pad with a brain (heating mattress pad that tells where you need to be warmed) sooo snuggly!

I'm going to Disney!

O John how did you know I have always wanted to go to Disneyland? Be sure and take plenty of pics to share with us!

Mollybee - congratulations!! My dh got me one after we had been married 10 years. Then this past summer, it fell out and he replaced it for me, I had worn it 30 years. Get it insured!

For Christmas he got me a remote themostat for the GH, Hurray! Our son gave us a new microwave - I guess he thought it was bad that the turntable hadn't turned for years!!

Me too Azalea. The oven had a shortage and I rigged up a piece of duct tape that stuck out of the cabinet and you had to pull it up and hold it with pressure on it to make electrical connection in order for it to work. Finally DIL decided that we needed a new one. I feel so lucky just to have such a wonderful family and that includes all of Dave's. This year has had a lot of heart aches as well as a lot of good times. Bobbie being sick has really been hard in every way but being able to meet so many of the Dave family at the roundup has to be one of lifes greatest moments. I only wish it could be possible to meet all of you. The greatest gift was given by someone that cared so much for me that it didn't matter what kind of person I am a baby was born on this day that changed the world and my life as well. Oh yeah a pair of jeans and some money and a lot of samll personal grooming items and a lot of love from the grandkids. Merry Christmas to all and a happy new year.

I got an orthopedic pillow for my neck and a 'Tower o Chocolates'. I also got some new fabric dyes for a technique that I'm wanting to try,a small container of Saffron,3 sweaters and some Norwegian folk are dolls. The dolls came from my best friend in Norway and are dressed in traditional costumes.
