Any one make homemade gingerbread man cookies?

We are going to make some! I make them every year for christmas. It's going to be fun! Last year I made three batch! LOTS OF cookies! Yummy! My niece is waiting for me to give her some on Christmas day! I will post pictures when I start make them!

I haven't had homemade gingerbread cookies for awhile, but I remember how delicious they are with a glass of milk. :o)

For the kids, I like to make the gingerbread men, but for myself, I prefer the cake type of gingerbread. With a topping of sour cream or cream cheese. My oldest son likes this, so I got in the habit of making it when he was little. We decorated the tops of the squares with cream cheese snowmen (cream cheese with a little lemon juice, worked to the best consistency in a bowl and spread on with a butter knife), using raisins for eyes, a chunk of carrot for a nose and a sliver of cherry for the mouth. The hat was a snip of licorice, but he didn't like the taste so we left off the hat many times. As he grew older, we decorated with cream cheese snow, candy trees and other figures, and decorations of gold and silver nonpareils. Haven't made any of them in several years, though! Now I fid my mouth watering.
