do you remember the MG contest ? *LOL*

Alfred, ON(Zone 4b)

I don't want to bother any one, but I thought I share something with you :)

I won the best ugliest category ( where we supposed to get some seeds???)
and my best ugliest is still going strong *LOL*
here is a picture I did just a few minutes ago.
ignore the dust PLEASE :)

the seeds came from CoCo and I love that ugly plant :)
it's frezzing raining outside, cold and we have a little snow. and inside this beautiful plant just don't give up.

I LOVE IT

The moral is: Even the ugliest flowers (how can a MG be ugly?) are better than none! Beautiful flowers, Zameluzza.

thanks lupinelover,
I know it's not ugly :)
but from all the pictures posted in the contest mine was not flowering well *LOL* and had almost no leafs.

I think it's beautiful. and this in the middle of winter.

Carmen...If we hadn't of had BLIND judges (well...two of them were anyhow)...I think you and I could have done better....LOL Besides, Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.....and I beheld mine as the most beautiful in the contest....but those judges didn't behold them the same way!

It really was a fun contest wasn't it? Let's get them next year!! LOL Jo

zameluzza, it was "imaseedpicker" who had offered seeds as prizes, but she is no longer subscribed here.

Jo :)
I find it's amazing to have it bloom now, if I look outside everything is looking so sad and there she is :)

I will try to grow them again next year. hope to find some of the fancy once don't know the names but sah nice pictures of them.

Pardancanda I know that she is no longer here, I just thought that because I'm in Canada i did not get them.

thanks

Meems,
I did nothing *LOL* I just water them once in a wile.

Oh yeh...One thing I did a few months ago is....
don't laugh now OK

I took some Llama poopy :) and addet a few in to the top part of the soil. I really don't know if that helped.
It sits on a south facing window, and I cut all the dry stems and leafs that where hanging all over.

but nothing else.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Lucky you...South-facing window! The two we have which face somewhat south aren't very large and don't do us much good for plants. *sniffle*

Grove City, OH(Zone 6a)

I am sure the llamas helped a lot to making it prosper :) I only have 1 south-facing window too, but I have many gro-lights set up in various places, so I have several things blooming indoors now :) Sure does brighten the heart in the dark days of winter.
