House Fire update

Cape May Court House, NJ(Zone 7a)

Well there is alot to tell but I will try to make it short and sweet!!!!!

The House is totally enclosed, the window's and door's are all in, the shingles on the roof are done, and the siding is about 99% complete!!!! The electric guy's are wiring like crazy and the plumber's will be back Wednesday to do more of their work!!! I picked out cabnet's and rug on Monday so when the time come's they will be ready to go!!!!!

Thing's are really moving along and my Brother in Law say's we should be in by the end of February!!!! I wish it were tomorrow!!!!! I am trying really hard to be patient, but it is not so easy sometime's !!!!!

Well that's the scoop for now!!!!!!!

Too bad you are so far away or we would come over and kick in a few hours! Exciting watching everthing progress, I bet.
Always seems like it should go faster though.

That's wonderful news Sue! I'm so happy for you that things are progressing well. I hope you and your family are all settled into your temporary home for the holidays. I remember reading a thread about the home you were going to camp in in the interim. Sounded wonderful. Merry Christmas to you and all your family.

P.S. When you are done with your plumber, can you send him this way? We have been waiting on ours for months and we can't finish this darned house until HE finishes doing his stuff. I'd love to fire my plumber and hire yours! LOL!

Wonderful, Sue. February will come very soon, and you'll be all moved in -- that's just great.

Oh Sue! What wonderful news....and don't forget to let us know when you are ready for plants...Have a wonderful holiday...God bless!

Fantastic progress! Spring will be here before you know it and you will be surprised at how many of your plants survived the heat from the fire and all the stomping of feet during the constuction. your DG family will take care of the rest.

Cape May Court House, NJ(Zone 7a)

That is what I am hoping for MaryE, that most of the plant's WILL survive!!!!!!

The way the bulldozer's were digging and mushing they may come up in the middle of the lawn or even down the road but I will be searching the area to find anything that decides to bloom and then put it right back in it's place!!!!!!!
