You have all heard the Christmas Shoe's song and probably the movie it was on a few weeks ago. Well today I had a similar experience . This has been a really rotten day at work busy, busy, busy! After work I had errands to run, well when I got to this one store I was headed to the counter to pick up a package they where wrapping for me. All I once I hear "Ms Peggy, Ms Peggy" and have this little girl with the biggest blue eyes you have ever seen and shiny brown hair wrapped around my legs. Tears just rolling down her sweet little face. I squat down and give her a big hug and ask what's wrong. She says "Ms Peggy I need your help"," I said sure honey what do you need". "There's this bracelet I want to get my mom for Christmas and I don't have enough money". I said "show me" ,we went to look and it was sterling silver charm bracelet with a Guardian Angel charm (funny this is the same thing I had wrapped and was picking up) she said "she needs somebody to look after her until I can go back home." (after my heart finished breaking in a 1000 pieces I said you know they are having a big sale, did you ask anybody or just see the price and knew you didn't have enough money?) Well the people that work there know me. lol and knew what was coming . It's amazing the bracelet was exactly how much money she had and my package went out the door with her.I figure she needed it worse than the person I had intended it for. Sure made my day brighter and I know it did hers!
My Christmas Shoe's story
Oooh, I just love this! Quick thinking on your part, and I think you were supposed to be there at exactly that moment. It makes me smile and get teary all at the same time. Blessings, sweet lady.
Peggy you are such an Angel.
O Peggy!! You have not only touched my heart but you have really touched the heart of that sweet little girl! This is the SWEETEST thing I have ever heard anyone doing!

Now THAT'S Christmas, eh?
Not just a "story" but rather a true-ness, and a happening.
That seems like a present to you as well as to the little girl AND her mom!
Peggy, you are one special lady.
*sniffling with big tears running down my cheek*
How come I'm not suprised that you would do that? You are such a kind soul...not snobby at all!! I love you like a daughter. Jo
