Yes - that is going to be the tricky part - figuring out that what, where and how of over-wintering the tropicals. I am hoping that most can just be cut down, potted and put in the garage.

tiG, since you're in Georgia, can't you grow pansies and maybe snapdragons this winter? What about hellebores?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

yes, but I haven't had a minute to do anything outside. I've never had much luck with pansies, so decided to save my money this year. We have a beautiful hellebore, it will bloom probably in January. I wish I'd planted it closer to the house. I've never been able to do snapdragons during the winter, don't know their trick.

My are still growing non stop and several have bloomed. I had cut every leaf off every plant and cutting 2 months ago before I put them in the GH with the hopes of preventing fungus. So far everything looks good but we still have 2 1/2 to 3 months to go.

Alyssum that is the absolute cutest picture. They are little dolls and the flowers aren't to bad either. LOL

Great dreamhouse -- I mean ugh greenhouse! LOL Yes I have been dreaming of a greenhouse, maybe one of these days.
That is great, to still be able to see all your plants (and blooms)still going strong.
