Spell Checker for Internet Explorer

Minneapolis, MN(Zone 5a)

Hi All,
Here is a spell checker that you can download onto your computer if you use Internet Explorer. This spell checker allows you to check the spelling anytime you enter text into a text-box, like is done here at Dave's Garden.

After you install the program it is accessible from the "tools" menu at the top of the screen or by "right clicking" in a text box.
It it a great tool and helps correct "fumble fingers" (I suffer from this).
Enjoy!

Hi Mike:

I downloaded spell checker but, can't get it in from tools

Minneapolis, MN(Zone 5a)

76,
Have you rebooted your computer since you downloaded the program?

There are 3 ways to access ieSpell:

-from the drop-down "tools" menu at the top of the screen.

-from the tool bar, put your cursor over each item that is listed there and the name of the item will be shown (ieSpell) - it will probably be one of the last items (on the right side of the screen) in the tool bar.

-by "right clicking" in the text box and selecting "check spelling" from the drop-down menu.

I just checked the ieSpell web site and there doesn't appear to be any restriction, such as using version 6 or later of IE, etc.

Remember, this does not work with Netscape or any other browser.

Let me know if you are still having problems.
Mike
