Did Shoe finally wear shoes?

during the storm...... I called him this morning, and although their power is out they are doing okay. He asked me to tell you all "howdy" - but do you think he he broke down and decided to put some shoes on those "size tens"?

I think maybe he did think it was time to drag the shoes out.

Nope............he probably socked 'em up and put 'em in front of the fire!!

gw, I think it would take dave to find that thread now. that was the funniest thing I've ever read in my life!! I've tried to tell it to Johnnie, but would love for him to be able to read it himself. I just can't get it like shoe. well, who can??
I think he finally put on shoes!

That was quite a long time ago, we didn't have many forums then so I would guess it is on General Discussion. I think he did not put on shoes for this storm, his feet are like leather anyhow.

You know, I think he was barefoot most of the time at the Roundup, yes. Definitely when he sang "Size 10's". Where IS that bugger, anyway? This thread's been here waaay too long for him to have missed it!

I figure he drug out the boots he wears once in awhile but I am sure he had to check them out to make sure there was no unexpected surprises in them. lol Carol have you heard more from him? Is his power still out?

I think we will hear from him as soon as he gets the power back on. Meanwhile, he is outside in his bare feet building snowmen with his daughter. Great together time! Maybe he will send us a picture of his bare feet in the snow.

Shoe was "shoeless" at round up...why not...after all, it was a nice summer time. Jo

Howdy folks! I'm home!~
Got power on last nite around 10 pm...whewwww, so thankful!
Lots of snow/ice/sleet/freezing rain sure put a hardship on so many people's lives here.

Now as for them thar shoes ya'll keep mentioning...heheheh.
I must confess, I put on some rubber rainboots when the ice on the ground kept gushing up between my toes. (It was very distracting~!) I even wore those boots the next day too! On the third day, I remembered something called "socks". So yep, not only did I wear shoes, on that one day I even wore shoes AND socks! And now, as I sit here, my feets are once again relieved of all burdens, toes are wiggling like beech tree leaves in the wind, and all is well! Yayyy!!!

Bet those boots are stiiiiinky! ;) We're SO glad to see you back. That must have been a bummer, all that ice!
