Our little Turkish Delight ... do you still get that in the U.S.???

How is it that we both seem to be on DG at the same time, lots of times. It's just past midnight here, and almost every night, when I send a post or see a new post somewhere, it's Pebble.

I'm not complaining, believe me ... it's just a wee uncanny happening ... your life after your tea time, must coincide with my 'checking DG' time.

Strange ... but nice :-D

Barry, I have the computer tuned to DAVE's all day long while at work, and try to sneak a look here and there when I have a spare moment, of course some of the time, I make the Time, and work kind of gets pushed aside.....
I had wondered what you are doing up at such a late hour, but I know that people usually stay up later than I. When our Turkish friends come over, they stay till well after 2 AM which really grates on my nerves, because I like to be in bed at 9 so I can get at least an hour of reading in before turning off the lights......and you should see how cranky I am the next day....But since we all have a good time, I can't really complain can I? just have to change my ways....

We have a turkish delight like thing here called "applets and cotlets" originated by an Armenian immigrant way back when (well...you and I both know who the originators where of that particular delicacy...) it is not exactly like the ones we get in Turkey but very very close.

Now with the age of internet, we can order many Turkish groceries online. It boggles the mind....

Oh, Pebble, it has been a long time since I had genuine Turkish Delight. I imagine your DH brought you some back didn't he? I think my uncle is going back to Istanbul in the spring: maybe he will bring me some :)

oh yes, he does bring it back everytime he goes, there are so many different varieties now...exotic flavors....
