Two for Shoe (and all of you)

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Behold, a Cajun thanksgiving plate! The little crab-shaped glass dish is holding some oyster stuffing, and on the plate there's turducken, deep-fried turkey, mashed taters (!), gravy, dirty rice, and a green bean casserole like none we've ever had before. Lisa will need to fill in the details on that last one - it's really good!

Shoe -- It's not the clearest picture since it was taken through the window and the screen, but you can see that the birds use the neat little feeder you made. That's so cool!

Okay, three. ;)

They're still growing flowers....*sniffle*. These are all from Lisa and Jesse's garden. The flowers in the bowl are floating in neat little hollow, blown-glass "donuts" which allow the stems to go down into the water, but keep the petals dry. My mom sent those along as a gift for Lisa, and we put them to use today - very neat! :)

OH MY Goodness!!! What a great sequence of pictures, activity, and happenings! I love it!!!!

That plate of food makes my belly poof out just lookin' at it! It sure looks mighty fine! Mighty fine!
And what a bouquet of flowers ya'll have there...I bet Lisa takes the "donuts bowls" to display her flowers in at the market next year. Very very pretty!

And seeing that coconut bird feeder in action...well, that really hits the spot! So cool! so cool!

Ya'll must be having the time of your life!

The little rings are free-floating (uh, oh, Shoe...it's an omen, LOL). You can float them in a fishpond, a bowl, whatever strikes your fancy. They look like little hollow glass donuts, all sealed up after they're blown.

We are having a great time - the week's going too quickly!
