Mavie, as you go forth with your life, know that it is like the Cornucopia.........filled with the fruits of your life, and labors. Such are your friends in the garden.
"eyes"
Thoughts for MaVie
I don't know what happened, but I'd like to add my "second" to this about the friends. What a wonderful sentiment, Eyes! And I hope all is well or will be well soon with you, MaVie.
What a lovely horn of plenty, and probably straight from Eyes' gardens. Just the thing to inspire MVR in her new home.
looks like Texas Loves Ma Vie Rose. :)
I know MaVie is real busy right now and she will be back when she get a chance soon . =)
Redrose, we're just working on a nice surprise for her when she slows down and strolls through DG. We do need her to be busy so we have time to build it, because she is pretty awesome in the ground she covers in a short time. Isn't it nice of Eyes to do this for MVR in her absence?
Hi MaVie!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and everyone here!
Melissa ;-)
P.S.'Nice job, "Eyes"!
P.P.S. Aimee---how are you feeling?
Melissa, thanks for asking! I am achy today because of the stormy and cold weather, but just being home is an improvement. I'm on my best behavior and hoping when I go in for the blood work Friday, I can come back home and have no more admissions for quite a long time. My freedom depends on one little clotting time!
Dear Mavie, Good luck to you dear friend! It is indeed a good day to give Thanks. Thinking of you during these days.
Something happened to MaVie? Did the "crazy neighbor" do something?
Evert, I think she is busy moving and getting settled into her new place. (I'm not sure though)
Oh, she found a new place? Where is she moving?
Could someone post a hyperlink so Evert can read the thread in which MaVie told about this?
I bet she still bus y and she is at Butterflies & Hummers forum every now then.
Evert if you would like to know... all you do is email her to check on her "How she was doing", I bet she will email back to you. =)
i just found this thread. thank you so much Eyes and EveryOne... this thread brought tears in my eyes. I AM DEEPLY MOVE!!! wiped off and lightened the heavy cross i bear these trying days!
unfortunately, i have NOT moved yet, but very busy packing and potting plants. moved won't be till 1st or 2nd week of Dec.
boy oh boy can u people touched the inner core of my being. yes, i am indeed blessed and very thankful to each and everyone of u. and i thought i was all alone fighting my own battle. it sure is great to have found a much better family in each and everyone of YOU.
there are so many things to be thankful for: one is that the good Almighty had blessed me to be alive today. most of all i am greatful and thankful to be a part of DG's Family.
thankful that i can share a little bit of my knowledge for whatever it is worth. most of all i enjoy helping out in what ever capacity i am able to. u guys have kept me busy and i enjoy that cause my mind is preoccupied surfing info, and learning in the process too! u've kept me out of trouble, free my mind from thinking and worrying over all the trama life has to give. Thank You Everyone, i am indeed deeply touched!. i love each and everyone to pieces. i mean that from the bottom of my heart.
Ah, MVR, you deserve so much, and it's good to be able to send you a cyberhug. I wish we were there to help you pack and move, but at least you will do it with the sure knowledge you are not alone. You are among the best loved people in the garden, my dear.
Right on, Aimee.
Ma Vie: ((((Big hug!)))
OD :-)
P.S. Aimee, good luck with Friday's blood work.
'Glad that you're home and doing better. :-)
MaVie Rose Sending you love, hugs, and prayers. I didn't know you were having problems or that your were moving but now that I do I will pray that the move goes smoothly and that you will find peace in your new home. God bless you!
Congratulations MaVie, I'm so glad you found a place you like. I hope you have lots of fun making a new garden in your new home!
MVR, packing is stressful and I know you'll be relieved when that phase of the move is behind you -- think how great it will be to start UNpacking, in your new home, without the annoyance, anger, fear and nervousness brought on by that neighbor. It will be so much fun for you to plan (and plant) your garden, and I hope you post pics from time-to-time!
Good luck in your new home dear one! Jo
i deeply appreciate ALL the kind & loving thoughts conveyed in this thread. for those who missed what happened here is the thread that explained it all ... http://davesgarden.com/t/366173/
being detail oriented, i am taking my time packing and labelling each box so i can focus more on important matters than tear my hair apart, unpacking. each box has designated room to go, to alleviate the moving process.
and u know i will be more out in the garden figuring next season's layout, if not planting LOL!
Thanks EveryOne.
MVR I know you will be happy in your new home. I can see the wheels in your mind turning planning all the neat things you will do with your new home and garden. Happy Moving Day!
Oh My MaVie...I had no idea...just read your hyperlink. Thank God you are getting out of there. Wishing you peace and happiness in your new home. May God continue to bless you!
MaVie, I am praying your new home is everything you want and need and deserve! A setting fit for a jewel :) (There! that actually came out not horrible! I am getting better :D
Thank You: Mystic, Vic and Kathy. God is on my side. i have faith and believe He will bless this new place. so far, He has not failed me yet. amidst all the cross He has given, He too has provided for my well being.
Thank You EveryOne. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!! i believe i am happy cause i got a wonderful family here on DG!!!
Happy Thanksgiving MaVieRose. I have been thinking about you as I help my son's best friend and his wife pack up for their move to Seattle. I know in my heart that you will be very happy in your new home and I am sure that you will have a cup of tea to relax and enjoy your newfound happiness there. In the spring you will be rewarded with a new garden to plant and your friends here at DG will supply a lot of the seeds for that garden. Many Blessings to you and yours.
MaVie, I wish you the best with your move. You are right about packing things well and labeling the boxes well too. You never know when you might have to go looking for something before it's all unpacked. I only wish I would have been so diligent about it. Now I'm searching the far corners of the crawl space to find things, and if I don't have time to do that, I buy another one. If we don't get this house done and get settled in soon, I'm going to have enough utinsils and such to furnish another kitchen. LOL!
Good luck Mavie, and I'm so happy for you! You deserve it.
Joan
WR ... she does not miss nothing, but still in great denial of her actions. she too is in the process of moving. apparently, she created havoc on everyone she 'visits' and destroyed other people's or businesses property/ies. the local police department had no choice but to turn the case over to the Mental Health office. in a way my heart bleeds for her, none of her family or friends would come and visit her.
Thank You Lani. hope u and ur family have the very best this special day has to offer.
Thanks Joan, i never have any problem packing stuff. i keep a mental inventory of the contents of each box... which is why they are not only labelled but also numbered. that way when they are stacked during the moved, they should also be in the same order.
am really looking forward not only for the move but mostly to next spring's planting. i could see the imaginary picture created in my mind of the plants i've got at hand or what is left of it :)!
Happy Thanksgiving MaVie - I just know that you are going to be so much happier in your new home. I can vouch for that.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too Margaret. Thank you! with all the positive vibes i get from everyone, there is no doubt this new place will be blooming nicely next Spring.
Enjoy this Blessed Day EveryOne!!!
How could I have missed this entire story?????
MaVie, my heart goes out to you, and after all that excitement, I hope you'll have a really boring, and uneventful move to your new home ;-)
Your ex-neighbour was really a crackerjack wasn't she? Phew, I'm glad you've got something new, and somewhere you can spread out a wee bit.
All the best MaVie

Barry :),
didn't i tell everyone the meaning of Ma Vie Rosé is ... 'my life is very colorful' LOL! never a boring moment... filled with excitement, albeit life threatening or just sheer fun. want to stand in my shoes? sorry can't help that one LOL!
my soon to be ex-neighbor will be history... all these will come to pass. not only will my life be colorful, but also my immediate surrounding... filled with lovely and fragrant flowers.
MaVieRose - smooth moving for you, friend! From the sounds of it, you've been blessed with the gift of organization. If we find ourselves moving again any time soon, I will have to get tips from you. We don't plan on it, though! :)
May your burdens be few, your joys great. Think of how you'll make your new house a home - how exciting!
Thanks Kimberly :). am here 24/7/365. am at ur beck and call whenever u or anyone are ready to move.
indeed the moved is very exciting, i could hardly wait myself!
Kimberley, you could bring your plans to move right up the list of 'things-to-do', if MaVie could get her ex-neighbour to move in close to you ;-P
*ducking*
