4 generations

Today is my dads 83rd Birthday, but the whole family celebrated it on Sunday. This is a picture of 4 generations of our family. My dad, me, my DD and my new grandson. I sure look haggard in this picture, wish I could replace it. lol

I spent today at my dads, for his B-day. We didn't do very much as we are having a small heat wave this week. I did do alittle weeding for him, cut back his hydrangeas and dug up a dead plant. I took him out for dinner and we had Prime Rib..yum yum...nothing is too good for my dad.

Redrose, the dark haired girl is my DD, she takes after my DH's side of the faimly with the dark hair. She looks indian in this pic because she parted her hair down the middle that day. lol
Jim...you are so right about elderly people loving to just spend time with their family. My dad enjoyed just having us all together.
Joann...ha ha..I don't wear glasses unless I read. I have had perfect vision all my life until a few years ago when things started falling apart because of age...

I missed chat again tonite since I didn't get home in time...did I miss anything interesting? hehe

Donna what a great picture and you look marvellous. I used to do the same for my dad when he was alive - tend to his garden and potted plants. I bet it was such a lovely birthday and you must be over the moon with the new grandson. Lucky you!!!!
