im thinking of not decorating at all-to many plants everywhere, no room for all my christmas stuff!!!

Let's see...anything new...?? Yes, we're having a live tree this year. Hubby dug it up yesterday and it's on my patio in a plastic tub. We've never had a replantable tree before so this should be interesting.

dori, we did that last year, and said never again. it wasn't even like Christmas without a tree.

DH and I want a plantable tree, too - we want to plant it in front of our house so that NEXT year we can put multicolor lights on it : )

Sledder let me know how yours goes.

Will do!! It's certainly an experience. When DH dug it up the dirt fell off the roots so he wrapped the roots well with burlap. Then once home he planted it with new dirt in the plastic tub. It's amazing...when you look at trees in several fields and pick one out you never know how big it is until you take it home. It's a 6 ft blue spruce!! 6 FT!! I had originally told DH that I wanted a nice small plantable tree...3 ft max. Boy oh boy...was I ever wrong. lol "T" :)

No decorating for us this year. We're packing to move! Besides, there are no kids here. Also we're celebrating on Dec 14th because my Folks will leave for their yearly trip to Texas before Christmas. So of to my DB's house to celebrate with the neice & nephews.

I went today and bought at our Pat Catan's these wonderful white lights in BROWN wires, and some of the garland that looks like berries, white, on brown stems... and a few bunch of other things to fill out what I have already gathered in my life for Christmas.

I am having a cookie exchange this year so I want to get everything ready and decorated by December 1 this year so I can relax and enjoy planning the fun. Plus, except for the actual Christmas tree, everything is easy-up and fun to do.

We want to buy a real tree and keep it on the patio enclosure in its pot till spring, not sure how to do this, we want a Blue Spruce...

I think since our carpet is brand new we will go with the artifical tree (I know, I'm chicken) in the house.

Thanks for sharing your ideas and thoughts here!

Janie
