To celebrate our last day of school at the Bristol Motor Speedway (see http://davesgarden.com/t/364868/ ), the buses lined up right on the track to give everyone a ride around the track. We left our temporary location with mixed emotions, packed up and moved on Friday, and look forward to being back at school on Monday.
I guess I can always say that once upon a time I was a Guidance Counselor at BMS.

wow GL, I bet the kids enjoyed their schooling at the track. was wondering how it all went.
Our principal (the first female high school principal in our county) is the one with the good ideas. She is very strict about many things, but works hard to make good memories for our students. The classes and everything went really well at the race track, in fact, the manager told the newspaper after we moved out that he was so surprised that over 1,000 students there for 5 weeks didn't even make the mess or destruction of one day's worth of skybox fans during a race. We were proud of our students.
GL, That is indeed something to be proud of. Sounds like you have a winner of a Principal too.
