i did talk to carol this morning, she said they lose power easily and not to worry. hard not to, but I made her promise to get to a phone and call someone if she loses power for a while.

I'm a day late in responding to this thread, but I'm okay (as much as I can be). I was following the other thread...glad people were checking in!
Now I wonder how to help those who really got blasted by those storms. Makes me wanna live closer to some of them (course, now I say that after the danger is gone, eh?). In our neighborhood/town, people would be out chipping in and automatically doing for each other. I imagine it will be the same in other communities as well tho.
