I decided to put a different picture on my member page and now, when I go there I see the same picture of Jim and myself, new caption, but when I click on the picture of us, my brug picture comes up. I thought I could add a picture, not replace or mess up what I already had. Help please.

Sumpin's wrong.........when you click for an emlargement, you and Jim turn into Brugmansias!! LOL.........I beleive in magic!!

LOL, a dream come true! POOF.......and you turn into a brug.......hopefully a double pink so you will be adored and loved, well fed and pampered. Your consorts would only be the most handsome. Maybe live at Lizzy's or Jeanne's house.....or even Waterlilyloo's on her pond...... one with a view. Oh to have the life of a special brug!!!

I checked your pic a little while ago Brugie and it was different brug than now. looking good! what was the first pink brug that was there earlier today?

I never could get the pink one to come up. It was the PB/Rosamond. Ahhhh!! The miracle of technology. Sure will be a shock to anyone who doesn't read this thread when they click on the picture. I checked Rootdoctor's member page and his changes from a compost bin to bananas in the front yard.

It is a little funny, but I don't want people thinking I don't know the difference between a Pink and a yellow Dr. Suess. Wonder if it has happened to others and they didn't go back and enlarge to find out...........

I see a picture of the your PB-Rosamond - on both the member page and the enlargement.

I wonder why it isn't working on my computer.

Okay, just this minute I went back and it is right. I've been messing with this for over an hour. Maybe Dave will come along and tell me what has happened. Thanks.

Brugie: I think I had this problem myself or saw it addressed in another thread (having a Senior moment), and, as I recall, the change on your homepage is not instantaneous. I'm sure Dave can clear that up for you, but meanwhile I'll see if I can find a thread that addresses this.

Ask Dave wheres the compost forum?

I agree that it might not be instant....but it was a considerable amount of time. Probably close to an hour. It is okay now, so that is all that matters to me. Thanks everyone........

Rootdoctor, there is a forum titled Soil. Maybe that one could help you. I didn't know it until just now. Think I'm going to go see if I can learn something.

You're seeing a cached copy of the page. When you go to your page after making changes, hold your shift key down and click reload. It should look correct after that.

Thanks Dave. There is just too much for my little brain to learn and retain with computer. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Gateway today. New computer and I've had my third problem. Isn't there something called a lemon law? :-)

Is "reload" Applespeak and would that be "Refresh" on regular computers?
