CONCERT X 2

Tonight i go to see john mellencamp again here in my town!!!
I went to his town last weekend and we found his house!!
I will add to this post after tonights concert-i cant wait!!!

Oooops!! I just saw this post! I started another one, I remembered you were going but didn't remember exactly what day it was.
I want details!! LOL

OMG It was so GREAT last night!! Michigan fans were so much better than Indiana fans-We were ROCKING!!

First concert Bloomington Indiana: Remember that GREAT room amd Great deal I got-HA! When we got to the hotel at 10:30pm the guy at the desk gave me the key to my room-open the door and "WRONG" room, go back to desk and say wrong room-he says oh im sorry the room you had RESERVED has water damage! Guess what-Im not buying that one-i say I want to see it-he makes me a key and I make my way up to the 4th floor(the elevator looks like a shower stall)and Im standing outside the door-voices,do not disturb sign-hmmmmmmmmm, I knock and a lil doggie starts barking. IM MAD! go back down to the desk and he says "sorry i had no idea". The hotel was run down and stinky!!! so by 11:30 we had a room same price no hot tub!
Next morning we are up and checking out the sites-go to assembly hall and see his buses n semis and of course they say "hes not here." We decide to go find his house-having no idea except by water we had for the resivour and then::: Yahoo there is a big black gate with guard dogs n guard shack we drive by to the other side and turn around-this is it!!
Picture time! This is a great place-we get to the other side of the lake and see Johnny's sailboat and special basketball court-this is where i will take a vaction too! ;] We head back to town and take a few more pics and get ready for the concert-we are a block away from IU!
He played to 11pm and no encore-the fans were ok but not rocking the hall down.
I expected more from the whole town-they didnt even care. There wasnt one sign that said concert tonight our own hometown boy john playin!!!!
Alice Peacock plays for 40mintues and we waited for over 30min with nothing but yellin whistling and waiting and then it was JOHNNY time! He played to 11pm and left no ENCORE!
****Second concert in SAGINAW was the best! alice came out for 40 min and we waited for john till 9:30 again but well worth the wait
The crowd was loud and into the concert, Johnny really jammed too. We had a gal jump on stage n kiss him-i started thinking maybe i should-but i didnt! But i did sneak a camera inside and got at least 20 pictures of JOHNNY!!!!
He did an encore for us and the concert was twice as good as the one i drove 318 miles to see!!! But his house was worth that trip! I would love to see him again-but im going to join the fan club so i can get FRONT row! I luv JOHNNY!!!!!!=]

Wow! Awesome, Dori! I haven't been to a concert in years ~ I think Stephen Stills at the Backyard was the last time. I need to go to one again. ;) It sounds like you had a GREAT time in Michigan!!! I wish I was in your pocket at the time ~ I'm a John Cougar Mellencamp fan, too!! :)!!!!!!!!!!!!!

O Dori I am soo happy for you!!!! That is sooo neat that you got to attend both concerts!! You are lucky indeed! I'm sure it's something that you will NEVER forget!!
I want to see pictures!!!!! Hurry!!

Now now Horseshoe....I don't want to see those pictures, just the ones of Johnny!! and his house! NO pictures of naked Dori! LOL

Hey Shoe, I saw those pic's too on the front page of the Entertainment Section of Our Atlantic City Press!!! Remember those pearl thong's Dori was talking about on the underwear post, well let's just say I will never look at pearl's the same way again!!!!! hehe (just kidding Dori, they were lovely)!!!!!

lol ya'll are funny! Im so happy i can dance naked and not care if you see-ok maybe i care! ;] It was the best times! i took the pictures in yesterday and got some soil for my new EE babies.
I live in a small town and i can breathe in a small town,
gonna die in this small town thats proably where they'll bury me...............yeah yeah yeah!
