And to think I nearly missed the celebration!!! CONGRATULATIONS BOTH OF YOU!! Didn't I tell you it would be alright on the night!! lol!! I'm so happy for you guys!!

This race was too close for comfort, and I sensed that all along. DH didn't, but now he knows. We had the commissioner wannabe plugging against us all along. Unfortunately, he won. Now it's going to be interesting as to what happens next.

DH and I both thank you all for your prayers and support. We are going to finish the champagne, get some much needed rest, and face the world again in the morning.

Yippee, Horray, Yee Haw, Wowzer.....this is great news Joan. We all knew you would do it, there was so much faith here at DG working for you and Dave. I have been watching all of the voting news tonite, even hoping they would have something small regarding your elections. I am so happy for both of you. I hope you both can relax alittle for awhile and let all the excitement sink in.

Our little Governors race here is pretty tight tonite. All the big guns on the news are saying how bad this situation has been. Gray Davis is our governor right now and nobody likes him...but his opponent is Bill Simon, not a politician at all, and his campaign has been a joke this year. I didn't vote for either one of them, as I couldn't make a logical decision....that's pretty bad, huh.

Thanks everyone. I am so exhausted today! My opponent came into the office this morning and shook my hand and said she hopes there's no hard feelings. Hmmm..I think I have to do some thinking on that one.

I'm sure glad there's a 3-day weekend coming up. I need one real bad. DH has to work all weekend though because it's opening weekend of deer season. It would have been nice to get out of here for a few days.
