Why can't I get to the FORUMS or MEMBER LIST from the PDB, but I can get to 'Dave's Garden' from 'Dave's Garden' and to the 'PDB' from the 'PDB'?

I saw that Vols had answered this question in the other thread in this same forum.

But it basically comes down to the excellent analogy that she used: the DG Network is like a wheel, with DavesGarden.com as the hub of the wheel.

Down the spokes are the extra features like:

The Plants Database (with its assorted ilk, like brugmansias.com, etc).

The Garden Watchdog

Scif Store

(and others, both in development and live).

Almost all are a part of DG (Scif Store isn't a part, however it IS integrated with DG) however DG is not a part of them.

Put another way, DG is the central gathering place of all these sites. You can get to any of the sites through DG, and DG is the central brain of the entire operation.

So, the PDB may have some features that are identical to DG, but will be missing many others (like, for example, there is no journal, trade-tracker, or tradelists at the PDB). Also, you can't subscribe to the DG newsletter from the PDB, but you CAN read the PDB newsletter from DG.

Well, I think I just confused matters... It's a big bunch of sites, with over 5 million pages of information spread across all these sites.
