It's all over but the laughing

As many of you know, there was a suspicioun that I had breast cancer. After a month of mammograms, ultra-sound,and scheduled needle biopsys (twice), the doctor opted for a lumpectomy. That was particularly unpleasant, but the final word is in and I do NOT have breast cancer. It was just one of those fibroid things........
I may sleep for a week.
Thanks for all your good wishes and concern. Now I have to wear a heart monitor for 3 days, but I don't think anything's going on there either. I think it was just pain caused by too much ibuprofen for my back, but I have to follow doctor's orders.

Am thrilled for you -- how wonderful to discover that the lump was benign. Will pray for you regarding the pain and any situation concerning your heart.

Wow! I am amazed at all the response. Thank you so much! I feel great and greatly relieved. It took me and my spousal unit 2 days to actually relax and let it sink in. It's still on my mind a bit.
I went this morning for another needle-prick, just to check my thyroid medication level, and the nurse said she had had fibroids very young. The dang things fill with fluid and in some cases drained. She had had a lot of pain. The doctor told her it was all caffeine, too. I knew caffeine played a part in breast pain, but never dreamed it caused these fibroid things. So I guess I will at least cut down. To celebrate, look at the new thread I started called Boo!

Well, that is, if I can get DG to accept my picture. Are any of you having trouble getting your pictures posted here?

Well, it's been a year of medical problems, but 2 out 3 are under control so I am very much looking forward to next year. I will definitely celebrate New Year's! Horseshoe, how did you put those musical notes on?
