We had our first snow a week ago yesterday. Last Monday. It came in the form of a blizzard too. Then it got a little bit nice out and some of it melted, but it started again last night. I think we've gotten about 7 or 8 inches already. It doesn't look like that much now, since some of the first batch melted. It's a muddy, slippery mess out on the county roads though.

not for us eyes, on sat. they are telling us it will be in the high 60's during the day and the lows will be in the 50's ..no frost for us :-)

We've got about two inches right now.

Same here, about 2 inches. Late October is MUCH better than early October. Where's Tillie? She's probably out greasing up the snowmobile!

Hi Kathleen!! Our sleds are "always" ready to run. But unfortunately working 40+ hours (closer to 50) every week puts alittle crimp in the play time.

I think we are scheduled to get snow here in the mtns. of NC tomorrow. Today it will be in the 60s. Go figure!

It is 22 degrees this morning with a stiff wind blowing and a high today expected of 40 degrees. My truckload of mushroom compost arrived this morning but I think I will chicken out for today on spreading any of it around my flower beds. That wind goes right through you! Tomorrow will be warmer they are saying and hopefully the wind won't blow.

Today we had about +1°C (33.8°F) to +3°C (37.4°F), but the weather will turn colder soon, about -4°C (24.8°F) on Friday..

I just came in from my freezer which is out in the shop building and it is SNOWING here too!!! I am almost sure that it won't amount to much snow but it is the white stuff none-the-less.
