Cala dearest - look what happened to Martha S - not everyone is meant to be able to do everything. Your forte appears to be be being the bestest plant person on daves. Grubs, while they sustain people lost in the woods for indefinite periods of time, are not what are considered fun food.

Gosh, I'm a farm girl and I can't even pick them up. Our grubs here are the white ones. Nasty little creatures, but I hear they are good fish bait. I'd have to wear rubber gloves to even touch them.
ROFL. Put them in the freezer until company comes again and then defrost and add to a nice meatloaf.

What fat little grossies ............ I can just imagine popping it into my mouth and chomping down on the fat squishy body. The thick cream pus-like guts ozzing out from its soft and succulent skin up into my teeth, filling my open mouth, with a little dripping from my between my red lips and then my tongue darting out quickly to reclaim the creamy intestines and sucking them back in to swallow.

Kell, I know what I'll pack in the next Christmas box I send to you!! We found quite a few of these while digging up the cannas, so should be plenty to share. Do you do Christmas Baking? I have some nice earwigs and centipedes to send if you do. They are yummy in the Chex-mix.
