You keep emailing me asking for the speedwell photos for the magazine. I've sent them 2 times. I guess you didn't get them for some reason. I just sent them again from a Hotmail account. See if you have them now.

Okay, before someone reads more into this exchange than is here, let me spill the beans: hczone6 has a photo that a national magazine wants to use in an upcoming issue. (Details to follow...)

The photo editors need a higher-resolution photo than what we had in the PDB. I asked hczone6 to email me the image; he emailed it to me, but my email inbox was deleting all messages with attachments (it was my fault - I set it up that way because I was tired of dealing with so many viruses :(

Long story short, I didn't see his email; the magazine editors were working under a tight deadline, and I emailed hczone6 again. Since he had already sent the photo, he posted the message above to make sure I had gotten his email with the attached image.

So it is pretty exciting...but certainly nothing resembling the scheming and scandalous stuff in a typical episode of "Days" ;~)

aw, we was just teasing ya!!!! one of those threads with a name on it and we all get nosy:)

And now you know the rest of the story !

So let's show the dang picture to us nosey ones already!

Yeah, I want to see this famous pic too...I've checked into this post several times to see all the crazy updates. lol

(And yes, Miss tiG, I knew ya'll were teasing, and I as laughing with you guys. But I didn't want some poor unsuspecting newbie to wander in here and wonder what on earth we were up to :)

Kudos to Jon - he's submitted some very nice photos to the PDB, and we'll be excited to see his work in print.

I'll be excited to see it too...lol I'll have to buy that issue...whichever it is. Thanks for facilitating this.

It's Taunton Press' Fine Gardening magazine that has requested the photo. Jon, I did hear back from the photographer that the file made it safe and sound (sorry, should have told you that a few days back :)

Now we wait and see...if I hear back from them with a specific issue to watch for, I'll post it.

Thanks. I assume they'll be using it to show what speedwell looks like in an article or something like that. I doubt it'll be front page material. Still kinda neat though :)
