No, don't say we're "stuck" in October - say we "get to enjoy" 15 (now 14) more days of October. Because November means it's close to the holidays, which I'm not ready for, and cold weather, which I'm NEVER ready for!

Well, if we're going to move backward in time, let's go back to April when spring first started, so I can try this veggie garden again. :)

If we're going back at all, lets go back to 1970 when I was still spry enough to do combat gardening!

In the 60's when everyone else was taking mind expanding drugs and practicing "free love", I was in the midwest burping babies and Tupperware, so I sure don't want to go back that far! How about the 80's... disco was about dead, so all we really had to contend with was polyester.

There's just no making everybody happy, is there, tIG! LOL! If we travel very far back we're just going to be young, dumb and happy, but we won't have all the wisdom we've gained from our experiences. OK, I concede. We can go back to next spring. Maybe it will all be easier the second time around!

I'm with Golddog. I want to go to my birthplace of Hawaii. Then I could see my Godmothers again too. And look at gardens and tropical plants galore that I can't have here in zone 6. On second thought I like just where I am enjoying this crisp fall weather and working out in my garden battening down the hatches for winter.

well, could I just spend a month in Hawaii with my son?? now this request is also for whatever time I'm there not to count against me this fall or next spring. If you must, take a week out of winter, and cram a month into it. comeon dave, you can do everything else!!!
