I really don't know what I can say but THANK YOU to the Esteemed Panel of Judges (Pardacanda, Baa, Zanymuse & Notmartha), and also to all of you who helped me to win the "Best Small Garden Photo", and even get an Honourable Mention in the "Most Unusual" category.
I hadn't even looked at any results since I haven't been on too long in the last couple of days, and I was really surprised when Pardacanda sent me a nice eMail congratulating me on my $1,000,000 prize money ;-)
Congratulations also to all of the other winners: Poppysue, tiG, Farmgirl & Azalea.
The porks will be cop.....er.... the corks will be popping at 'Chez Wintermoor' directly !!!
Thank You All :-D

Read All About It: Scotsman wins SOMETHING!!
congrats wintermoor :)
Thank You Pebble,
it was a real surprise, I can tell you.
Yippeee!!!!
Wintermoor
well, I had to go and look at all the winners, I remember yours distinctly when you posted. I love what you have done with your space, and thought the lights were a cool touch... whe have lights like that on our gazebo and awning. we took the awning down this past weekend, it doesnt stay up during the winter.
The lights are winter hard to -40°C.
I use that kind for festivals etc, to light passages through dark areas, and even the truck cam drive over them.
I got them 'free' of course ;-)
*sticky fingers*
Wintermoor
congrats but where is the photo?
Here, Mark: http://davesgarden.com/contest/2002/landscape/viewbyuser.php?user=Wintermoor
That's such a cool little space there, Barry. I love what you've done with that. :)
Hi there Wintermoor; I just visited your garden and it's lovely, it also looks quit good with the lights as well. Congratulations. :)
Thank you GW for the hyperlink :)
Congrats from me too Winter - well deserved - so all was not lost to the storm, thanks to modern technology!!! I was quite impressed too when I first saw it.
I am a little hurt tho - since I was a first place winner and only was awarded half as much!!

Thank you folks,
it's not everyday that a Scotsman wins something (it's normally those ******** from South of the Border (and I don't mean "Down Mexico Way")...... lol
Thank You Mark, sorry M8, I should have put a link on there.
Thank You Kimberley, but looking at the others, I think I was the only small garden around....... lol You all have parks for gardens in the U.S.ofA. ;-)
Thank You Flowerpot, the lights are (as said above) really good and winterhard.
AZ!!!... sorry you only get half a mill, don't worry Darlin', we can put the prize money together, and I'll split it with you halfway..... whadyathink???
Thanks ALL
Wintermoor (celebrating with a nice bottle of wine at Chez Wintermoor) ;-)
Well done Wintermoor. Cheers :)

%%buurp%%
pardon meeeee
Hic - Oh, my head!!
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me thinks the bubbly is affecting the eyeballs! I could have sworn that I was the one to win the Thousand dollar prize! No, that is right...I got the $5000.00 for my crabgrass! LOL!
Dang! I could have been in this winners circle...if I hadn't of drawn such BLIND JUDGES in the Morning Glory war....*sniff*...may I please have a wee dram of the bubbly? (Medicinal you know!) Jo
Here ya go RR you can have a whole bottle to drown yer sorrows! Hic*+# But don't drink it too fast hic those bubbles tickle!
Jo, so sorry your bribe didn't arrive in time. (oops, hope no one was listening)
congrats to all the winners and Wintermoor your garden is lovely, very cozy!!
That's a very nice wee space, Wintermoor, I add my congradulations! It proves that a lot can be done with a small amount of space and some hard work and imagination.
Bravo Wintermoor! Bravo everyone!
You sure deserve it, especially after the way you salvaged it after your flood this summer. Sure hope Wingnut sends you some menudo to help recover after all the celebrating! And I see you and Azalea started early: that is why y'all were so happy last night!
"Park?" LOL Not even an acre to my name. I am cut to the quick! The newest craze here is something called "pocket gardens". They make your space look like a park! They are semi-circular, about 3' in diameter. Just enough space for a tiny shrublet or a few small bedding plants.
Congrats Barry!! If you can still see to read that is!! But of course you can because you are on the road today and drinking and driving........well......!! Loved your space and was enchanted with other such gardens in Germany.
