Wow! The judges actually liked my crabgrass! I can hardly wait to tell the gals at the nursery where I got the grass seed! They giggled when I said I needed just a fistfull! Ehen I explained what I was doing one of them scooped some int a bag and said it was on her but I had to bring them a picture of it. They put it up over the bulk seed bins!

I know that as a judge in the Landscaping contest it was sure tough to choose! In fact I think the only easy choice for any of the Judges was the Veggies in the Tomatos ;~)

That is a pretty one GW!! I am ashamed to admit that I didn't even know I'd won the "Most Unusual Landscape" contest til Pardancanda emailed me this am!! Brightened up this dreary day for me!!

When the call came for unbiased, down-the-middle-of-the-road judges for the various contests, I volunteered. I suggested I would be good at judging vegetables; my vegetable entries could be canceled, as they weren't that great anyhow. I was told it was too late, that judges were already chosen. So what happens? I won the vegetable contest. Go figure.
