I posted a pic of Maianthemum to both Photos Forum http://davesgarden.com/t/364316/
and PDB http://davesgarden.com/fp.php?pid=383789.
In Photos Forum the size of image was 46711 bytes, but in PDB it was 46782.
I didn't do anything to the photo myself. Does the photos forum compress the image more than PDB?
The real photo size is 128 kb (not compressed).

I compress the images at 75%, and there is no difference between the PDB and the Photos forum; both get compressed at the same time.
But there are many reasons why your PDB picture was 71 bytes larger, dealing mostly with the filename that I saved it as on my server.
