Here I am/bad picture!

I finally got this year and a half old picture uploaded to my home page. This is me in ALL my glory (actually a few starved pounds lighter now). The beautiful LITTLE ONE is my grand daughter! (((Read-Nanny's pride)))

I'm certainly old enough to be a granny, but no luck so far. I'm the mother of two confirmed bachelors! I don't often feel left out, but this picture gives me a twinge or two... what a beautiful granddaughter you have!

I agree that it is a beautiful picture of you and your granddaughter. It's nice to meet you. I too am a grandmother of five and I think that is all there will be. They range in age from 21 months to nearly 21 years.

My 6 grandkids call me Nana.

Starzz: For years we had a daycare service in town called Nana's Nuggets. All the kids called her Nana. I often saw the kids following along behind her like ducklings when they took walks around town!

"Grannies unite," I like that. Thank you all for your sweet comments. This is one of four grandchildren. Each one is special. But I MUST SHARE that this one is our "miracle child." She was born after 16 years of marriage to my oldest d & s-i-l. She was born with a malignant tumor called Sacro-coccygeal Teratoma. We were given little hope. She was started on chemo when she was 16 days old. Had extensive surgery at 17wks. She had heart surgery last December. Now all tests are good! Her life is a testimony to prayers being answered. God is good!

Oh, Doris, I really *like* that picture! :) What a sweetheart, and a miracle baby to boot. Is that taken in your yard? It sure is pretty, wherever it is.
