Lili left us........

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

2 of the prettiest rainbows ive seen in along time- it looked like the faded one was out in our woods-gold? ;]
We had tornado watches and winds up to 45mph i have a few flowers and castor beans down but we got a really good rain-i think maybe around 2inches!
I got the iris planted and the raspberries picked before a drop of rain fell. Dh came out to the greenhouse when he got home and told me i should come in the house before it got bad-i did :-( would have like to watch from out there!
The sunset that came out from behind the storm as the rainbows faded was just beautiful a goldish red glow on the bottoms of the last storm clouds! magnificent-As I looked up i muttered "you are the master" What a beautiful passing of hurricane Lili!

The rainbows were beautiful, weren't they Dori?
I went out and tried to take some photos.
We had the entire "arc" of the rainbow...
Just gorgeous! :-)

Lili just gave us about 1/2" of rain. Could have used 2-3", but better than nothing. Really cooled down this am. Brrr after almost 90 the past few days.
