Storms gone-Power back on

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

We have been without power because of trees on power lines. Everyone has power now it is time to clean up limbs and downed trees. I had some plants and bushes uprooted becaust they were so tall and shallow rooted. Nothing major thank goodness. Both of the stock ponds are over flowing. I haven`t seen this for a long time.
I hope everyone else fared as well as we did. I can deal with power outages but not the destruction.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 8b)

Glad you can now type & don't have to quack! :~)
Just wondering, did your Skyflower vine survive? If not, I'll send you another one. Have you seen the Mercer Blue? Flower looks the same but deeper color. It also is a bush rather than a vine & it blooms it's head off.
Just glad you & yours' are safe & sound.

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

Thanks to all of you for your prayers and concerns, and yes, Zany you are so right. Everything can change in an instant and we have no control over it.

Smockette, That really done it. Now you have me wanting Mercer Blue. I was going to back off (LOL) shut my eyes and wait until spring to start thinking about finding something else. Now it is a "MUST HAVE". You know how to zoom in on my weakest spot.
Yes the Bluesky vines are fine. The only plants that took a beating were the tall ones like castor bean morning glory bush, zapotec some AM vines and some smaller plants that were in the path of direct wind. Of course the large elephant ears are wind burned.

Will "QUACK" with you later.

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

So glad to hear you came through it with just a few losses!! Wow - a full pond - that's different!! :-)
