Just want to congratulate the winners of the Morning glory War!! Poppysue, Debby, Kikisdad, and Zanymuse! Real winners all. I can't help it if we had honest judges...I tried all kinds of bribes...almost had Calalily with Peanutbutter fudge, but her concience won out. It has been such a fun contest...but my wee one is devastated! Now I ask you....does this look like a winner or not??? LOL Jo

Ah Jo and TiG, we tried to give it to you guys, but those others were just so pretty. It took many days and many emails to decide!! I think I have every entry memorized!! They were all beautiful(well, maybe one was ugly!!)

Shucks! thank you all :) I wasn't expecting this. I have to admit that the Hatsu Arashi is a beautiful MG tho. He is still spitting out a few blooms now although they are much smaller and the vine is looking rather ratty. He hasn't set alot of seeds but I'll collect as many as I can from him to share.
The seeds came from The Fragrant Path seed catalog if anyone is interested. I can't guarentee mine will be true since he was grown with other glories around. TFP catalog address is listed in the Garden Watchdog here. You have to send away snail mail to get it. It's a small company but it has lots of great seeds.

I really enjoyd looking at all the pictures, they where all pretty.
for me it was the first time growing MG's and I will try again next year. hopefully they will be growing better :)
