lisa laid down, puppy rested his head on her shoulder, paws over her arm, was cute. she taught squirt a new trick. and she got the DS really good. they were such good sports, went to the football game with me....gloria is right, they are as nice as people as you will ever meet. ms brugie...we went out for lunch.....i never cooked for them. can i send an sase for you to send me some good food? enough for two?lol....
they were so much fun. pj, so are you and tig. Ms Frannie left a cutting we stuck in the fish pot, dee is going to mail it to you frannie.

Arlene did they get the map & Ph # to my house - haven't heard from them.

I just called them - they stayed about 175 mi so of here at Tifton - will probably arrive around noon. I'm excited!! My ISP seems to be out so can't use email right now on one addy. Funny - can send but not recieve!!

Good Afternoon Everyone, Lisa Here. We have been here since around 1:00 ET, and we have enjoyed our visit with PJ & Doug. They have such a beautiful place too. I took a picture of PJ & Frannie this afternoon standing in the Greenhouse. Thanks Arlene. I forgot about that pic. Anyway, we are off to Chattanooga to stay the night then head to Cala's tomorrow. we went to kanapaha. lots of pretty stuff. we cut ourselfs off when we spent our last dollars.
we bought a bag of osmocote, 58.00 with tax, 50 pounds. gonna split it. bought minors separate.

Well, they just left, sniff, sniff! We had such a wonderful visit - they were only going to "drop by" for an hour or so, LOL!! Yes, I put Frannie to work, made her hold the bucket while I dug up things!! I'm so thrilled to find folk's that want what I have too many of! Finally got Lisa in the pic too, with a happy face. Dh took this one.

Great picture. PJ, what is that white thing blooming behind Frannie on the left side? I know I need glasses.

I just knew someone would ask that!! It's my butterfly Ginger, I had one right behind my head too. I didn't expect them to be blooming again, they bloomed a couple of months ago. They smell sooo good. Here's another view.

I had no idea gingers would get that big. Great pictures and your DH looks like a great guy. Nice looking couple.

yes, Brugie, they do get tall. in the Phils. the ones that grew on swamps get to be 6' tall. butterfly gingers is very fragrant. u can use it as corsage too :)!

That sure is a pretty bloom. May have to get yet another addiction going. At least I'm not a shopaholic. Only in the flower catalogs. I wonder if I get so many plants that we can't see out, if Jim would build me a glassroom on this place............hummmm.......thinking here and that isn't good....... :-)

Mine are about 6 ft too - we just are a few feet away from them. And they multiply pretty fast too - like Cannas.

Hi all, just back home myself from Arlene's. We had a great weekend, bought plants we didn't need but wanted, but then who says that we have to need to buy. Was able to get 1 picture before tha batteries died in the camera. Talk about not prepared. Anyway this is E9 that Arlene cut for Frannie and me, but I guess I will be mailing cuttings for Frannie. Frannie, let me know when you get home so I can mail your plants. Have a good time and be careful!!

She probably has been abducted by the Brug aliens who spotted her brug laden car on the highway and zoomed their spaceship down to beam her up, car and all. They no doubt will want a handsome Brug ransom to get her back to us! We will all have to pony up our best brug, I will see if they will deal with me.................

They should be at Calas by now, there is a lot to see between here and there! Probably still out sniffing Brugs!!

I hope we hear from them soon.

PJ...how far is it from your house to Cala's?

Not sure of the milage, but it's about 5 hours, she is north of Knoxville. They were going to stay at Chattanooga last night, but stopped before they got there. Calla said she got a call this morning that they were on their way, so I figured mid afternoon they should have arrived. I'm sure they are just visiting away by now!!

Got mail from Cala - they arrived yesterday about 2:00, will go back to visit more today! Hope Lisa will take time to post soon.

We were so busy in the greenhouse and gardens, didn't think to get them to post!! I've got pictures, but am just too tired right now.

Hi everyone!! Lisa and I are now in Nashville visiting her good friend that she went to high school with. I had to go to Kinko's to use a computer so that I could post. All I can say is "FABULOUS" - - such a memorable trip and I am so glad that we are doing this. So many wonderful people and such beautiful gardens. Believe it or not I am already up to $4.80 on Kinko's internet service. Can't believe it is so expensive.

Brugie, we will be leaving tomorrow morning heading your way. I will call you when we stop tomorrow night and let you know how far we got.

Hi Everyone,
Lisa here! Finally made it to Shirley's (Brugie) this afternoon. Having a lot of fun. Seeing alot of country too. It is a very nice day here in Chariton and it is supposed to be getting colder on Saturday. Tomorrow we will be heading back to Texas, not to mention it will be the longest leg of our journey since we have no stops planned. It is approx. 1100 miles back home. Anyway, Kyle (Eclipse), Debby & her husband came by to visit and we all just got through eating dinner. We are going to visit a little longer then head back to the hotel. Here is a picture of Shirley and Frannie with a stepping stone. Talk more soon. Lisa
